The MiRegistry team has been working closely with Michigan Virtual, a leading Michigan online training provider, to partner in a way that would allow approved training (courses) completed in their online learning system, to populate as verified training in a MiRegistry user’s account. This is made possible through a data exchange with Michigan Virtual. This data exchange is expected to be live in early September. Michigan Virtual currently offers 62 MiRegistry approved courses covering both early childhood and school age content. 57 of the 62 offer SCECHs. Providers can search for approved training by accessing the Michigan Virtual course catalog. Providers can complete MiRegistry approved training through Michigan Virtual prior to the data exchange being live, however, training completion will not show until the data exchange is live. Have your MiRegistry ID handy, as you will need to enter it when you register for a Michigan Virtual course/training.
