Your trainer status is good for three years from the date you were approved as a trainer. You can view your trainer expiration date on the right side of your MiRegistry profile under Trainer. Please note that application processing may take 4-6 weeks, so we recommend submitting your trainer renewal 6-8 weeks before your expiration date to avoid your approval lapsing.
Qualifications
To qualify for trainer renewal, you must have completed the following criteria within the 3 years since your last trainer approval:
- Conduct at least 3 training events.
- Take at least 15 hours of professional development.
Typically, your 3 training events and 15 hours of professional development will be verified in your MiRegistry profile, and there is no need to send documentation.
If either your 3 training events or your 15 hours of professional development was done outside of MiRegistry and not already listed on your profile, you must submit documentation of the events and/or PD to qualify for renewal.
